I realized something the other day.
I’m going to be 13 years old in Second Life this month.
It’s strange how time goes by and the thing is. Thirteen years in Second Life seems like many many lifetimes. I think that SL years are kind of like dog years. You know, for every one it’s really something like seven. It feels that way doesn’t it? So if we went by that then….. I’m almost something like 91 years old.
Ouch right? But you know sometimes that’s how it feels, *laughs*
So why am I here right now, why am I talking to you.
I’m going to do the thing that all of you dread. Well maybe not exactly but whenever I say the following words most people who know me wince and say ‘oh god,’.
I’m rebuilding Roawenwood. I’ve been working on it over the past month or two on a different sim and I’m going to begin bringing it over this week. What does this mean? That the main store is going to be unavailable. I might keep a landing up above so I can still do things like 25L among other things. We’ll see.
I wish I had all my marketplace listings up to date but I don’t quite yet. I will be working on those as I can. I have satellite stores in a couple spots, and events still so I’ll be doing what I can but it’s time.
Time for something different. I’m going back to my roots even though at the same time I am moving forward.
It’s long overdue. My friends, my group members, my family and all those who I have had contact with over the years. Thank you. Thank you so much for sharing the journey. I love each of you.
Here’s to the next chapter. It’s going to be glorious.
Look forward to more coming from me, maybe some teases. Maybe some gifts. Maybe some of just…. me! Since I know you’re all here for that anyhow right?
Have a great day… and I look forward to talking to you all again very soon.
