Thank you so so so much!

I love the Faire.  Have I ever mentioned that?

Yes?  Well… ok.  I love the Faire.

In this time when there are SOoooo many shopping events, gacha events, this event that event all of them asking for money I know that it is harder and harder for folks to really be able to help out or go out there.  I mean really, even just all the charity events.  RFL all over and these things.

Fantasy Faire is just different.

I know it has a crapton of shopping sims.  Yes, but the whole intent and purpose is way different.  The core of it.  The heart of it.  Between all the fundraising events like the jail and bails…. which really can be great fun as people are tormented for our amusement and then the tours, the festival offerings, the shows.  Cabaret shows, particle shows, plays, music. Role-plays going on, stories abound linked to the different Fairelands. The beautiful sims to spend time on, a masquerade ball, the auctions, silent and live.

So so so much.  I was actually not aware of some things going on until I started looking at the events realizing just how packed every single  day of the Faire is. You almost can’t do it all… there’s so much, you have to actually plan it out a bit. *laughs*  This year I got to enjoy it a little differently again, more as a Faire goer.  The last few building a sim by the time you get to the Faire you are dropping at your desk and still trying to keep going because you have a few more things that need fixing up.  This year I was able to spend it a little differently when I did.  It was good to remember but I miss creating for it still.

But the real reason for this post is to highlight the silent auction.

Last night the auction that I had posted up for the 6 months worth of product had a bit of a bidding war towards the end and it got up to 35,000L

I know for the promised things that someone can get that really is a bargain still however I am so happy that it was able to make a decent amount for the Faire in the end.  We always hope for more of course, it is for a good cause and granted this is based on a promise.  You really didn’t know what you were going to get and of course that’s a fairly big thing.  What if… on the off chance someone doesn’t like one damned thing I made that period? (you don’t think I don’t think of these things?) So I am grateful, and thankful for the people who were willing to put their faith in my store, product and person.  I won’t let you down.

I hope. *grins*

So to the winners of the Silent Auction!!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Kit Lyons (kariritaisho resident), and Cherish Bellic for driving that price up and then in a weird twist of fate decide to split the prize. *laughs* to you both again thank you, and I hope you enjoy all of the little packages that will be coming your way.

So…. now…. what do I do for next year?
